Our most flexible product, the disc tag in its many configurations is widely used in multiple industry sectors, ranging from garment tracking to industrial process tracking.

The transponders are packaged in a range of rugged plastic materials to suit specific applications. Available in 10 (0.4), 20 (0.8), 30 (1.2) or 50mm (2in) packages these transponders yield read ranges over 0.6 meter (2 ft).

In certain instances, a transparent plastic material is used and the part is inserted or integrated into other forms of carrier, eg Ear Tags, key fobs etc.

Typical applications include:- Industrial monitoring, asset tracking, warehouse control, product identification and animal tracking.

 The transponder uses a magnetic RF coupling technique which allows it to operate embedded in plastics, wood, ice, greases as well as in metal containers. Powered remotely from the reader, the product has a very long usable life.
